About Me
Hello!
My name is Amanda, I’m the owner & operator of Essere La Crema. I'm a lifelong animal lover who cares for animals all over the world, Dubai & London included, providing a variety of pet services to fur-parents, (feathers, scales, & all other critters also included).
I’m the kid that brought everything home from the time she could walk, stray animals, abandoned or injured wildlife, even slimy creatures like salamanders. I started volunteering at my local humane society in Hagerstown, where I’m from, when I was 10. By the age of 12 they allowed me to assist in the clinic with exams & vaccinations, & at the age of 15, I started working at my first vet office in animal care.
From then on, I’ve worked as a veterinary technician at multiple vet offices both in Hagerstown & on the Eastern Shore. I also became a certified Animal Control Officer & Cruelty Investigator working for both the Ocean City Police Department & the Arizona Humane Society in Phoenix.

I no longer have any fur-babies, my last passed in 2023, so I have shifted my love & care to other’s pets, treating them as my own. I will talk to them like their humans, as I used to with mine. I’ll spoil them just slightly. And they’ll probably gain a nickname or two after I get to know them more & more.

In-Home Pet Sitting
Planning a trip & can’t take your pets, but want them to keep their routine in their own home? I do in-home pet sitting, caring for your pets & your home.
I will check the mail, receive packages, water plants, take out the trash, & of course care for your pets as my own, leaving your home as you left it.
If you need additional tasks completed while you’re gone, such as yard work, that can be discussed for an additional cost.

Hang With Me for a Little While
Drop-In Visits
Having a long day at work? Have a pet that needs extra play time? Going away & can’t take your pets, don’t want them to get lonely, but don’t need someone to stay at your home? I’ll come hang with them, play, & give them all the TLC they deserve.

Can We Take a Stroll?
Dog Walking
Does your pup need some extra energy expended? Then maybe a walk would be something they’d enjoy. We’ll take a stroll around the neighborhood, take in the fresh air, & probably sing & dance as we go along. (Actually, that will probably be me & your pup will wonder who the silly woman is on the other end of the leash. haha)
